Mauricio Portillo also known professionally as Maury was born on the 1st of May on 1990.He was born in El Salvador, and he started developing musical talents at an early age. When he was ten years old, he decided he wanted to be a singer. When he was 15 years old, he moved to the United States with his family. He continue his education, but his dreams were set on music. His religion prevented him from many things that any 15 year old would want. He had different interests that his religion and family didn't approve of, but he was tired of pretending to be something that he wasn't and decided to reveal his true identity as a proud homosexual guy when he was 18 years old. He started living his life more freely , and one day he was in a club, and was mesmerize at the performance. He became enthralled by the beauty and the beat of the music. He started singing, but later on discovered that music caught his attention. He started singing and recording his own songs . He created an account onsoundcloud.com, and he uploaded all his recordings. One day he called his friend from Masterpiece Productions DJ Profeta asking him if he were interested in recording vocals for them. He accepted and they contacted each other, and he went on ahead to write the lyrics for the first song, and record it . At the end the first song was called " Be your self " Up until now Maury are working on the second song, so make sure you stay tune for more information on our new breakout star.
